Biography

Hi, my name is Meenakshi Prabod Kumar. I recently started working as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Lab of Neural Systems at the Biological Sciences and Bioengineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Here, I will be exploring how olfactory information is encoded in insect brains such as flies and mosquitoes.

Previously, I completed my PhD in neuroscience from the Neurodynamics lab at the Centre for Neuroscience, Indian Institute of Science. My thesis work focused on developing optical and behavioural tools to understand the neural correlates of learning and memory.
