I am excited to share that I will be presenting a 5-minute lightning talk at Synapse 2021: Neuroscience Symposium Series on 4th December 2021 at 4.20pm (IST)! In my talk, I will explain how one can use a single IEG’s expression dynamics to identify distinct neuronal ensembles in response an event, and specifically show how one can use this method to study cellular representations in the retrosplenial cortex.

Doctoral thesis

We obtain a general method that distinguishes neurons that took part in multiple temporally separated events by measuring fluorescence of individual neurons in live mice.
